Over the past few months, we have worked hard to make Notes & Docs even better. We have improved the overall performance, speed, and reliability. Additionally, we have added real-time spell-checking, dark theme and large file uploads to the product. You can now upload and embed PDF, audio and video files directly into your notes. We have also added TikTok embed, bringing the total number of supported services to twenty-four. Let's dive into the details.
Real-time Spell Checking
To improve writing accuracy, we have integrated a simple to use, dictionary-based, real-time spell-checking feature into the product. By enabling this feature, you will receive instant feedback on spelling errors while typing. You can also create your own dictionary for special words to reduce false spelling error alerts. This feature helps maintain a higher quality of content by catching misspelled words as you go.
Combine Real-time Spell-Checking with our AI Assistant's Advanced Grammar Checking Capabilities
We recommend enabling real-time spell-checking while writing your content. Then, use the AI Assistant to perform a deeper grammar check after you have finished with your content or with a larger section of your writing. The combination of real-time spell-checking and the AI Assistant's grammar checking provides a robust solution for maintaining correct spellings and improving overall grammar in your writing.
Dark Theme
Say hello to Dark Theme in Notes & Docs! This highly requested feature is finally here. Now, Notes & Docs seamlessly adapts to your Trello theme settings, offering a visually appealing dark mode experience.
Large and Fast File Uploads and Downloads
You have been able to upload files into your notes for a long time, but the file size was limited to 10MB. Now, we have made file uploads and especially downloads much faster and increased the file limit to 100MB. This enhancement makes our application capable of storing work-related files, such as PDFs, videos, audio recordings, and any other file types you may want to have in the context of your writing.
Upload Videos and Audios into Your Notes
By embedding videos in your notes, you can include tutorial videos, presentations, or recorded webinars, making it convenient to have all relevant content in one place. You can upload browser-supported video formats like mp4, webm, and ogg.
Embedding audio files allows you to include podcast episodes, recorded interviews, or sound clips for easy reference and access. Supported audio file formats include wav, mp3, aac, m4a, ogg, oga, flac, weba.
PDF in Your Notes
With the ability to upload and embed PDF files directly into your notes, you can easily include important documents, reports, or reference materials in a seamless and organized manner.
TikTok Embed
Now, you can easily incorporate TikTok video embeds into your notes. With this add-on, there are twenty-four services that you can embed into your content by simply pasting their URL into the note editor. You can also add many more services that support code embeds using our iframe embed component.
